About Corridor WoodCrafters

The Corridor WoodCrafters is a special interest club, based in East-central Iowa organized to share the knowledge, skills, and common interest of woodworking skills and practices. Members include all levels from novice to professional woodworkers.

The club was formed May 2008 and meetings at that time were held at the Fine Woodworking Store on Blairsferry Rd in Cedar Rapids, IA in their demonstration room. The first meeting had 26 people present and became members.

Meetings usually consist of individual and group interaction, general club business, monthly raffles, “show and share” projects, wood working tool, technique or skill. Club organized tours of member shops and local/regional woodworking shops and companies are being planned.

Club meetings are at 6:30 pm on the first Thursday of every month and are currently being held at the Cherry Building downtown Cedar Rapids, IA.

Membership fees are $25.00 per calendar year for the first family member and $5.00 each for additional family members.
