The club was formed May 2008 and meetings at that time were held at the Fine Woodworking Store on Blairsferry Rd in Cedar Rapids, IA in their demonstration room. The first meeting had 26 people present and became members.
Meetings usually consist of individual and group interaction, general club business, monthly raffles, “show and share” projects, wood working tool, technique or skill. Club organized tours of member shops and local/regional woodworking shops and companies are being planned.
